An international Writer and Educator comes to San Diego

The Monk has been helping players worldwide for over 25 years and is an international figure in the billiard industry. He is the author of six books and offers a ten course training manual on a series of eleven DVDs that has been heralded as, "the best selling instructional material in pocket billiards today." He will be visiting San Diego for a week where he will be holding a two day workshop (on May 31 and June 1) with Danny Propp for any player, novice or expert, who wants to take their game to a higher level and advance in the game of Billiards.

The Monk Billiard Academy of Southern California prides itself on taking players, young and old, beginner to advanced, and helping them to advance to the next level in the game of billiards. Danny Propp established the Monk Billiard Academy And Supply of Southern California to share his skills and expert ice with all players who aspire to enjoy the game of Billiards. Danny attended the San Francisco Billiard Academy where he received his certification as an instruction with the ACS (American Cue Sports International), and spent 10 days on the roar with Fast Larry Gunninger to learn the art of trick shots. He then attended an the intense Monk 101 program and decided to become a Monk Master. Danny earned the highest award from the Monk Master University of a Monk Master Instructor under the guidance of Tim Miller, "The Monk". In our studio, we offer to the student our state of the art video stroke analysis (which uses 5 different camera angles to fully show you what you are doing right and what needs improvement), free informational workshops, and low cost lessons.

We have also recently established a pool league called The Pool Teams Of America. It allows ANYONE to create and start their own pool league for players of all kinds. 1 year in the performance Pool League is equivalent to $4000.00 of lessons. All the shots we teach are the ones that will win or loose games. Teams are forming now for the winter session, we are presently looking for league operators and team captains that want something different than the old 8 or 9 Ball leagues. Even with all of this, It's our attitude about the game and our experience that makes us able to teach so well and send our students out with a good attitude, confidence, and a little satisfaction in their experience in our academy. Because, let's face it; if you don't improve, something else needs to be tried. The biggest reason we stay at the same level is because we do not change our attitude. If you learn something but maintain a negative attitude towards yourself, you will not move on to the next level.
