Coach
COACH
I have been shooting pool for over 40 years enjoying the competition it brings and the many new friends I've come to know. During this time I have continued my learning of this sport with the knowledge you never quit learning something new each day. I became a BCA Recognized Instructor in 2003 and am currently working in the Monks Master Program. I have also entered the world of trick shot competition placing 8th in August 2007 in the APA amateur competition. In January 2008 to receive the Sportsmanship Award selected by my peers in the "Dr. Cue Cup Classic" is my most cherished award in my career. This tournament consisted of the top pro's and amateur's and was held in Louisville, Ky. My goal is not only to be a great instructor but to become a top Trick Shot Instructor in San Diego as well. If you learn one new thing in each game you will always keep improving. For those who are curious my nickname 'Coach" originated from my past of coaching football for over 17 years and it just carried over to pool. I enjoy and prefer to be called Coach.
Abram Diaz
ADRAM DIAZ
My name is Abram Diaz (A.K.A. Too Tall) I am a 22 years old Trick shot artist currently living in Chula Vista, Ca. I began playing pool in the fall of 2006, after my good friend introduced me to the game. A few months later with the help of my parents I was able to scrape up enough money to by a table of my own. Pool did not come natural to me, but I continued to push myself one day I was watching the Espn Trick Shot Magic and I told myself that’s what I want to do. So I took a break from 8 ball and 9 ball and I haven’t looked back since, besides I figured it would be a lot easier to practice these trick shots and get good at them then it would be to play regular pool. Don’t get me wrong I have an all around love for this game. I have come to the conclusion that you don’t need to be a good pool player to be a good trick shot artist I am living proof of this.
